Ollie is
adopted! His new name is ARCHER. What a great story this is....
Ringside
at our Brooksville Show, rescue volunteer and club member Jennifer O'Brien
Pheiffer struck up a conversation with a couple who had been coming to dog
shows and watching the bullies for quite some time. They were smitten with the
breed and were thinking about bringing a BT into their home. Jennifer invited
them to our next club meeting and emailed them with the date and time...they
were excited to attend. Rescue volunteer Carolyn Kimbrell, who has been
fostering bullies for our club decided that she would make it a point to bring
a foster dog to all of our meetings, so other club members can meet them and
see what great dogs they are, decided to bring Ollie to that same meeting....What
can we say? It was love at first sight for LaVonne and Robert. Within the week,
Ollie was on his way home with them. He slept in his crate, upside down, (a la
bullie) all the way home and immediately claimed his spot on the sofa when he
got there. He has been good (ish)
with the resident kitties and we think he's figured out that this new place is
pretty darn cool. LaVonne and Robert both are happy to have Archer as their
newest family member...and we are thrilled too. ___________________________________________________________________________
Jake
Jake has a new home! We had a lot of inquiries for
Jake; our biggest concern was to find the very best place for him, considering
his age and his previous issues with another dog at his original home. Many requests to adopt him were from
families that had other dogs. Then we had an inquiry from a man who sounded
perfect! Long story short (as they say) Raphael Montoya got the new best friend he
wanted, and Jake got his forever home. He sure looks happy in the picture below! Good Jake!
SPIKE IS ADOPTED! He is now in his new home with his
own human brother and his family and he has settled right in like he's lived
there all along. He can't believe how much fun it is to have his own family and
has already claimed his "spots" including the sofa, Hugo's bed and
the whole back yard. Spike Jones is one happy dog! ____________________________________________________________
Maya has found a home! She is now called Xena and lives with Archer who used to be Ollie (see above) Here is wishing her the best! ____________________________________________________________
