All breeds of dogs have health conditions that are common to their particular breed. Bull Terriers are no different. If you are adopting an older dog, many of these conditions may have already been identified.

Since not all veterinarians are knowledgeable about the health conditions and problems which Bull Terriers may have, it is important to find one who knows and likes bull terriers. This is a good reason to join a local, regional Bull Terrier Club. Your fellow members may be able to recommend local veterinarians who are familiar with Bull Terriers, and they will be glad to share the health knowledge of our breed that they have learned.
